Dog measures 'may spark complaints'

Councils may soon be flooded with complaints as a result of proposals targeting irresponsible dog owners, MSPs have been told.

A Bill being put forward by SNP MSP Christine Grahame aims to change the law on the control of dogs.

The Bill proposes a system of dog-control notices, or dog Asbos, which would allow councils to impose measures on dog owners if they have failed to keep their pet under control.
