Court shown photos of flat fire

Photographs of a fire-damaged flat where a teenage girl was allegedly murdered have been shown to a murder jury.

The remains of a burnt mattress, a petrol canister and an air rifle were among the items said to be shown in the images in and around the property in Arbroath, Angus.

The photographs were presented at the High Court in Livingston on the second day of the trial of 18-year-old Stewart Blackburn.
