Bets on Scotland manager stopped

A leading bookmaker has stopped taking bets on who would be the next Scotland manager over fears of a conflict of interest.

William Hill closed their book on the job because their chief executive Ralph Topping is chairman of the Scottish Premier League.

Mr Topping is a member of the Scottish Football Association (SFA) board that will decide on who will succeed George Burley as Scotland boss after he was sacked.
