Salmond visits spinning firm

Staff at a historic textiles company which was bought by a leading Chinese firm will receive a visit from First Minister Alex Salmond.

Todd & Duncan, a 142-year-old cashmere spinning business, was sold by Dawson International to the Ningxia Zhongyin Cashmere Company earlier this year.

The Scottish Government said the move secured around 200 jobs and the future of the Kinross-based firm.
