Probe after woman stabbed to death
A murder inquiry has been launched following the fatal stabbing of a 44-year-old woman in Kilmarnock.
A 52-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death, Strathclyde Police confirmed.
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Ambulance Service said the woman had been stabbed.
