Hung Parliament is 'better option'

A hung Parliament would be the best outcome for Scotland after the next Westminster election, the SNP said.

The claim came from Nicola Sturgeon, the party's deputy leader, ahead of its annual conference which opens in Inverness on Thursday.

She claimed the SNP could see about 20 MPs elected - it currently has seven.
