University honour for Jack Bruce

A member of one of the world's first supergroups is due to be awarded an honorary doctorate.

Jack Bruce, who helped found the band Cream with Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker, will receive the honour from Glasgow Caledonian University.

The Scot, originally from the Glasgow area, wrote the group's hits I Feel Free and Sunshine of Your Love.
