Call for SNP to drop nuclear stance

A senior UK Government minister has challenged the SNP Holyrood administration to drop its opposition to nuclear power.

UK Energy Secretary Ed Miliband called on Scottish Government ministers to rethink their stance on the issue.

Mr Miliband - who will visit the Hunterston nuclear power station in Ayrshire - said it is "wrong" to rule out the use of nuclear power.
