Salmond looks to Chinese potential

A visit to China by First Minister Alex Salmond will seek to exploit that country's "massive" potential for Scotland, aides said.

The week-long visit by Mr Salmond and Education Secretary Fiona Hyslop gets under way on Monday in Hong Kong.

The visit will take Mr Salmond, Ms Hyslop, and the 10 officials accompanying them to Shanghai on Tuesday and Beijing for the remainder of the week.
