'Speeding' footballer set for trial

A Scottish Premier League footballer accused of driving at up to 120 miles per hour is due to go on trial later this month.

Aberdeen forward Lee Miller, 25, is alleged to have driven dangerously on the A90 between Aberdeen and Dundee on March 30 last year.

He is accused of driving a car at 120mph in a 70mph zone. The same charge alleges he drove at 90mph in a 40mph zone.
