No business rates for small firms

Tens of thousands of small companies will no longer have to pay business rates.

The Scottish Government's Small Business Bonus Scheme - which reduces rates for small businesses and abolishes them altogether for the smallest - has now been fully implemented.

Finance Secretary John Swinney hailed the move as "vital help for our small businesses when they need it the most".
