Labour accuses SNP of treachery

Labour has accused the SNP of "political treachery" over its plans to fund large-scale construction projects.

The attack came as ministers defended the Scottish Future Trust (SFT) as an alternative to the "age of financial irresponsibility".

Labour MSP Andy Kerr told Parliament that the plans - and the SNP's ambitions to replace the council tax - had misled voters.
