Historic Cabinet meeting in Glasgow

The Cabinet is to meet in Scotland for the first time in almost 90 years.

Prime Minister Gordon Brown is to take his Cabinet to Glasgow later this month for talks focused on the economic crisis.

The date of the meeting has not been announced but it is expected to take place days before Chancellor Alistair Darling unveils his Budget on April 22.
