Regional newspaper group Johnston Press has warned of further job losses on top of a 15% cut in workforce last year as advertising revenues worsen.
Edinburgh-based Johnston, which owns The Scotsman and Yorkshire Post, axed 1,130 roles in 2008 after suffering the "greatest fall in revenues in its history".
But advertising revenues have fallen even further so far this year, down nearly 36% below 2008 levels and Johnston confirmed further jobs will go as it looks to cut more costs.
