Hop along to animal centre for froggy fun

THE Scottish SPCA are set to host an afternoon of ‘Froggy Fun’ at their Lanarkshire Animal Rescue and Rehoming Centre in Hamilton.

Youngsters aged between 7 and 14 are being invited to the centre to celebrate the ‘Year of the Frog’ on Monday, August 4, from 1-3pm.

Those attending the event will have the opportunity to view some toads and newts, learn about the dangers amphibians face globally, tour the centre and learn more about the work of the Scottish SPCA.

Admission to the event costs £1.50.
