Toyota revises best-selling Yaris range

TOYOTA has made some modifications to its Yaris range, which now includes a revised version of the best-selling Yaris TR model.

This car now comes with 15-inch eight-spoke alloys as standard, just like the range-topping T Spirit models.

The equipment specification includes air conditioning, electric windows and door mirrors, remote central locking, driver and passenger front and side airbags, six-speaker sound system, (four speakers on 1.0 VVT-i models) Toyota Easy Flat split-folding rear seats, leather trimmed steering wheel with audio controls, leather gear shift trim and tilt and telescopic steering wheel adjustment.

Versions equipped with the 1.33 Dual VVT-i petrol and 1.4 D-4D diesel engines further benefit from chrome-effect interior trim details and driver and passenger sun visors with vanity mirrors.

The price of the Yaris TR models is unchanged, starting at £10,280 for the three-door model with a 1.0-litre VVT-i petrol engine.

Owners can add to the TR's safety provisions with a new Safety Pack costing £715 that includes a driver's knee airbag, curtain airbags and vehicle stability control with traction control.

Such has been the popularity of TR models that the SR grade has been deleted from the range.
