New motorhome with all mod cons

WITH the camping and caravanning season in full swing, motorhome manufacturers are releasing their latest models and among the newest is the Bessacarr E400 Series.

It offers two fuel-efficient low-line models and three high-line models with a large overcab bed. All models have full over-cab GRP moulding, a stylish moulded rear light panel and a gloss white front bumper.

Based on the Fiat X2/50 Ducato, power comes from 100bhp or 130bhp MultiJet diesel engines.

A new soft furnishing scheme and refined graphics fit the classic Bessacarr style, whilst detailed touches like en-route central heating, push button catches on locker doors, additional electric socket provision, lined shower area and remote central locking are new for 2009.

To personalise the E400 model there are also new options including a roll-out awning, cab air conditioning and a reversing camera combined with sat nav.

Expect to pay about £36,000 for the Fiat Ducato 2.2-litre 100bhp turbodiesel model.

Standard features including new additions for summer 2009 include:
