Lisbon show returns for a second outing

THE show is back, and by popular demand.

On Our Way to Lisbon returns to Motherwell Theatre for a third visit on May 6 at 8pm.

It is a colourful recounting of the story of the 1967 European Cup, where the magnificent campaign comes to life as two supporters overcome every- thing from a vicious Swiss football team to the entire population of Lisbon.

North Lanarkshire Council venues manager Nick Parr said: “We are delighted to welcome back Pat Abernethy and Dave Marsden who once again play the two avid Celtic supporters in this stunning piece of dramatic theatre. Prepare to be glued to your seat for the whole 65 minutes.”

Tickets cost £9.50 or £8 for under-25s and Passport to Leisure cardholders.
