POPULAR singer Charlie Landsborough is on he road again this Spring for a series of dates throughout March.
On March 4 he embarks on 19 dates across the UK, including Motherwell Concert Hall, which follow his highly successful Autumn outing and his much-acclaimed appearance on Songs Of Praise with Aled Jones at the end of last year.
Although Charlie didn’t taste fame until his 50s, having spent over 20 years as a schoolteacher, his rise was meteoric and since his first big hit, What Colour Is the Wind, he has never looked back.
Having written compositions himself that have been covered by many famous artists – often making it into the British charts – Charlie mixes his own material with that of other people’s and throws in a dose of humour for good measure.
On stage he is as entertaining as he is melodic.
Charlie and his five-piece band are well known for keeping concert-goers enthralled. His heartfelt, telling lyrics and his very human anecdotes captivate his audiences wherever he performs.
His music, which ranges from inspirational to country, from ballad to anthem, truly hits the spot.
Charlie will entertain at Motherwell Concert Hall on Thursday, March 26, and tickets are available from the box office on 01698 403120.
