Ground-breaking hit show comes to town

THE innovative hit musical An Evening with Luv Esther comes to Hamilton on Saturday, November 15.

Luv Esther has been touring sold-out venues for three years since its Bristol premiere.

It has received outstanding reviews and captivated audiences from Aberdeen to Eastbourne, and Belfast to London.

Using a fully professional cast and fusing all the latest technology in sound, lighting and media, Luv Esther delivers what can only be described as a breathtakingly entertaining musical.

The show follows in the footsteps of the hugely successful Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

Using an equally gripping biblical story as a backdrop, Luv Esther tells the moving tale of how Esther, a young and beautiful refugee, is chosen to be Queen of the vast Persian empire.

When evil threatens to eradicate her people, Esther must choose whether she will risk her life to save a nation and change the course of history.

As the story unfolds, recent news footage creates a backdrop to the actors and we are reminded that the same discrimination and social injustice is just as evident today as it was in Esther's time.

This uplifting musical shows that justice and love can win the day despite oppression. The show aims to challenge and inspire its audiences through that message.

The innovative Evening with Luv Esther has been touring alongside the full show since autumn 2007, enabling this exciting musical to visit a much wider range of venues, making it accessible to many more people.

Showcasing some of the best moments from the show, An Evening with Luv Esther loses none of the story or professionalism of the full production but manages to squeeze all this entertainment into a much shorter space of time and on its own specially customised stage set.

The show will be staged at Hamilton College next Saturday at 7.30pm. Tickets are priced £5 each.

The show is produced by the professional production company NGM, New Generation Music and Mission, combining Luv Esther's passionate message with premium West End production quality through Tony nominated record producer Kevan Frost (West End and Broadway), scriptwriter and director Murray Watts (The Miracle Maker), and stage set designer Sean Cavanagh, (Joseph and The Rat Pack)
