STRATHAVEN songwriter John Malcolm has released his second folk record.

Sands of Time was premiered at a concert in the town on Saturday, October 25 and was very well received.

John, pictured right, said: “It has been a lot of fun doing this latest album.

“Sands of Time includes some of my own work, some traditional songs and some poems from Marion Angus.

“Marion was a fine Scottish poet who died about 60 years ago. I have put some music to her words.”
