Strum winners’ Butterburn gig

IF you love live music, then be sure to check out a new venue in Hamilton.

The Butterburn Bar, in Gateside Street, hold live music nights every Thursday.

Performing tonight (Thursday) are acoustic duo Ross and Cameron, who won Strum 2008, - Lanarkshire’s premier open mic competition.

The duo perform a mixture of covers and original material, and are always a big hit with audiences.

Also to perform in the near future are county four-piece blues band Dealer. And X Factor girl group High Voltage will make a rare local appearance.

The girls secured a place at the show’s ‘boot camp’ after wowing the judges at the open auditions this year.

Admission to each gig is free and shows start at 8pm.
