Take your man-cubs to The Jungle Book – for free!

YOUR Advertiser has teamed up with the Theatre Royal, Glasgow, to bring you yet another great competition.

We have two family tickets to give away for the Jungle Book at the theatre on September 2.

Mowgli, the man-cub, Baloo the bear and Shere Khan the tiger – with a little help from Disney these Rudyard Kipling creations have become some of the best known children’s story characters ever.

Now you can see them live on stage as the wonderful Jungle Book returns to the Theatre Royal by popular demand prior to a London Christmas season.

This production, which does not include any of the classic Disney film songs, is the latest show from The Birmingham Stage Company who are renowned for the high quality of their children’s classic productions including Roald Dahl’s George’s Marvelous Medicine, James and the Giant Peach, Danny the Champion of the World and Terry Deary’s award-winning Horrible Histories.

The Jungle Book tells the exciting story of Mowgli, a young boy who is raised in the jungle by a family of wolves.

When Shere Khan, the tiger, swears to kill the child, Baloo, the bear, and Bagheera, the panther, agree to take the boy to the man village for his safety.

But the jungle holds danger and surprises for them all in this adventure of a lifetime.

Top animal expert Peter Elliot has created the animal movement in the play.

Elliot has created and played monkeys in several blockbuster films including Greystoke, Gorillas in the Mist and Congo.

For Jungle Book he has directed the bear, tiger and monkey characters which feature in the show.

The Jungle Book is a magnificent adventure complete with new songs and magical fun for the whole family – so watch out for a stampede making its way to Hope Street for great jungle excitement in September.

All you have to do to win is answer this simple question: Name the top expert who has created the animal movement for the play?

Send your entries to Theatre Royal Competition, Hamilton Advertiser, Editorial, Press Buildings, Campbell Street, Hamilton, ML3 6AX.

Deadline for entries noon Tuesday, August 19.

Usual S&UN competition rules apply.
