TICKETS are now on sale for Hits of the West End, a show featuring songs from some of the best-known musicals, which is coming to Hamilton Town House this autumn.
Breathtaking choreography, heart-stopping voices and dazzling costumes will feature in the show, as will hits from Chicago, Dirty Dancing, Joseph, Les Miserables and Mamma Mia.
Sarah Lark, finalist in BBC’s ‘I’d Do Anything’, was confirmed this week as the production’s lead female vocalist. She and the other performers will be accompanied by a 12-piece band, who are sure to get the audience’s toes tapping. Also taking to the stage are pupils from local primary schools, with Glenlee, St Ninian’s, St Mary’s and Woodside primaries already confirmed.
Producing the glamorous show is Spotlight Productions Ltd, which was co-founded by Michael Martin, a talented young actor and producer from Burnbank.
In 2004, Michael (24) worked alongside the likes of Darren Day, Suzanne Shaw (Hear’Say) and Ian ‘H’ Watkins (Steps) when he took a role in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.
The runs from September 22 - 27. Tickets start from £18, and group bookings are available. Call the Town House box office on 01698 452299.
