DRIVE-BY-ARGUMENT will release their long-awaited self-titled debut album on Monday.
The band, which features two members from South Lanarkshire, guitarist Colin Keenan from Strathaven and drummer Lewis Gardiner from Larkhall, enjoyed success in 2007 with two critically acclaimed singles; ‘The Sega Method’ and ‘Sex Lines are Expensive Comedy’.
The album, which is being released on Lizard King records, follows a tour schedule for the boys which saw the boys perform to sell-out crowds at Rockness Festival and T in the Park.
The album is said to combine many of the band’s key influences, ranging from The Cure to Squarepusher.
The band, who have quickly found their music being described as “indie-disco” or “dancetastica” by critics worldwide, prefer to think of their sound on the 10-track album as “four to the floor unhappy hardcore”.
The new album will be Album Of The Month on Vic Galloway’s Radio One show throughout May, meaning it will receive five weeks of air play.
