YOUR Advertiser has teamed up with the organisers of Rock Against Racism 2008 to bring you a fantastic competition.
We have two tickets to give away to the special Amy Macdonald gig at Troon Concert Hall on Thursday, April 3.
The RoAR tour aims to tackle racism and to celebrate Scotland’s cultural diversity.
Tickets for the gig can not be bought and can only be won through competitions.
Within the space of a year — and at just 20-years-old — Amy Macdonald has already firmly established herself as one of Scotland’s leading singer/songwriters, making her mark on the UK music scene with her No.1 album ‘This Is The Life’ selling in excess of 500,000 copies and generating a series of singles, including ‘Mr Rock and Roll’, ‘L.A.’, and the brand new release, ‘Run’.
Amy said: “I’m Scottish to the core and I love the fact that our country has evolved and grown with many different cultural influences. Music is a great way of communicating with people and cutting across all kinds of preconceptions so, both as a musician and as a proud Scot, I’m delighted to be taking part in RoAR.”
Spaces on buses to the gig are limited. The buses are being run from Bauer Radio stations including Clyde 1 and 2.
All you have to do to win is answer this simple question: Where will the RoAR concert be held?
Deadline for entries noon Tuesday, April 1.
Send you entries to RoAR Competition, Editorial, Press Buildings, Campbell Street, Hamilton, ML3 6AX.
Usual S&UN competition rules apply.
