Unsigned talent can make this search a RoAR-ing success

A NATIONAL music initiative to help tackle racism in Scotland is looking for unsigned bands to perform at their gigs.

Bauer Radio Events and the Scottish Government’s ‘One Scotland’ campaign have launched RoAR (Rock Against Racism) — a series of concerts which aims to tackle racist attitudes in the country.

RoAR feature big name acts supported by unsigned talent.

The inaugural RoAR tour took place just over a year ago, with Embrace, Paolo Nutini and Corinne Bailey Rae among the acts taking part.

No matter what style of music you are into, whether it is rock, pop, reggae, hip-hop, bagpipes or bhangra, RoAR want to hear from you.

All up-and-coming talent who can cut it live should log onto www.RockAgainstRacism.info now for further information.

The competition is open to any unsigned musicians living in Scotland over the age of 16.
