T in The Park - new acts announced

GEOFF Ellis, festival director for T in The Park, has confirmed some fantastic headlining acts, with Kings of Leon taking to the stage on the Friday night, the Killers on Saturday and Blur and Snow Patrol on the Sunday.

Also confirmed are Keane, Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, James (who are making a comeback to T in the Park after a few years), Pete Doherty, White Lies, Razorlight, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Katy Perry, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Elbow and Pendulum.

Chart-topper Lily Allen is also set to make an appearance. Indie geniuses Mogwai are playing the King Tut's tent, while Abba tribute act Bjorn Again will be kicking things off on the Saturday.

The Slam Tent have confirmed: Felix Da Housecat, Simian Mobile Disco, Slam, Dave Clarke, and Beardy Man.
