Town House to stage classes for mini music makers

HAMILTON Town House will play host to a Mini Music Makers class.

And youngsters living in the area are urged to book their places.

The classes will last 40 minutes and will be staged weekly at the Town House.

Puppets, parachutes and percussion instruments are used to ensure the children enjoy themselves while they are unconsciously learning musicianship skills and absorbing things that will never leave them throughout their lives.

Tickling games, bouncing songs, play songs and lullabies from South Lanarkshire Council’s book Singing Games and Rhymes for Tiny Tots are used in the sessions.

The classes will begin on Thursday, January 22, and run for eight weeks at the popular Hamilton venue.

The zero-18 months class will be held from 10am tp10.35am and the18 months to three years session from 10.45am-11.30am.
