Vue to screen opera

HAMILTON VUE Cinema will be hosting special screenings of the Baroque opera, Tamerlano next week.

Tamerlano starring world renowerd tenor Placido Domingo as the Turkish Sultan Bajazet, will be screened on the 8th December at 2pm and 9th December at 6.30pm.

The performance will be screened in High Definition with 5:1 Dolby Surround sound.

Paul McCreesh conducts Graham Vick’s award-winning production which moves the 15th century story to modern times.

The dramatic tale of great love, pride and sorrow also stars Monica Bacelli, Ingela Bohlin, Jennifer Holloway and Luigi De Donato.
