YOUR Advertiser has teamed up with Hamilton’s Premier Photography and leading local businesses for a fabulous competition to find Lanarkshire’s ‘Face of 2009’.

The winner will have a fantastic opportunity to launch a career on the catwalk and a chance of breaking into the world of professional modelling.

Our lucky winner will win a package of prizes worth £1000 which they can use to present and promote themselves to any modelling agency.

Elaine Dempsey the owner of award-winning Premier Photography in Quarry Street, will provide our `Face of 2009’ with a professional portfolio of photographs.

The Advertiser’s `face of the future’ will also receive vouchers for one cut and colour, one cut and blow dry, one hair-up, and beauty vouchers for a pamper day at Rita Rusk International Salon on Bothwell Road.

Eleganza Sposa in Hamilton’s Quarry Street, will also be offering the winner an evening gown.

Angels Hotel in Uddingston, will only be too happy to treat our winner and three guests to dinner at their strum party night on December 18 - with a complimentary bottle of wine.

Always and Forever florists in Larkhall will present the winner with a fabulous bouquet of flowers.

Bairds in Hamilton’s town centre will also offer our overall winner a £50 voucher to be used in store on cosmetics or perfume/aftershave as well as giving them a make-over.

Elspeth Hamilton also in the town’s centre will be offering our winner a Versace gift box set worth £100.

We also have some great runners-up prizes for second and third placed applicants.

So if you think you have that certain look and would love to win this amazing prize worth over £1000 all you have to do is attend our photoshoot scheduled for Sunday, November 9 from 9am-6pm at Premier Photography.

There will be no appointment necessary just head along on the day with a completed coupon from the Advertiser.

Each entrant will have their picture taken at the studio.

The pictures will then be printed in the Advertiser and readers will get the chance to vote for the entrant they believe should go forward to the next stage of the competition.

The overall winner will then be decided by a panel of judges.

Applicants need to be 18 years plus (proof of age will be required) and must bring along with them a completed coupon which will be available in the Thursday, November 6, edition of the Advertiser.
