Hamilton Food Festival

A four day food festival will be taking place in Hamilton on Thursday, 15th of May.

The festival will include markets, demonstrations and discounts from local restaurants.

Presenting a variety of local fayre and continental cooking, the festival will host samples and demonstrations by chef and author of Scottish Food Guide, Wendy Barrie.

For a taste of the Mediterranean, nip along to the Continental Market which will be running all weekend in Hamilton Town Centre. The market will offer a selection of cheeses from all over Europe, freshly baked bread and mouth-watering meats from all over the continent.

Local grown foods will be on offer also, with the Farmers Market which will take place on Saturday 17th May from 9am –1pm at Hamilton Top Cross. The Farmers Market will present food grown locally and people will get the chance to ask how the food is grown and produced.

Other events happening during this fantastic celebration of food are the “Learn to cook” tutorial, the fairtrade stand and other stalls offering mouth-watering treats.
