Tartan Bearer can land Stoute with another big-race winner

TARTAN Bearer can claim the Glasgow Stakes (7.20) at the Braveheart meeting at Hamilton Park tomorrow (Friday).

Sir Michael Stoute’s charge is the one to beat and will be partnered by stable-jockey Ryan Moore.

Tartan Bearer, a full brother of 2000 Guineas winner Golan, is currently a 14/1 chance with Hills, Ladbrokes and Coral for the Epsom Derby in June.

Meanwhile, Majestic Roi (25/1, Hills, Totesport and Bluesquare) is worth an each-way wager in the Group 1 Lockinge Stakes at Newbury, the feature race on Saturday.

Last week’s big-race selection Curtain Call was a non-runner.
