Mission accomplished at Delhi Games for Strathaven's Corrie Scott

STRATHAVEN swimmer Corrie Scott last week reached her personal target at the Commonwealth Games.

Corrie reached the semi-final of the 50m breast-stroke, and she's aiming for more success in the pool.

Corrie (17) met her pre-games target of reaching the semi and did so with ease on the opening day in the pool on Monday, October 4th, finishing 12th overall, and missing out on the final by just less than half a second.

She was back in action in the pool at the Dr SP Mukherjee Swimming Stadium on Thursday for the 100m breaststroke, and just missed out on a semi-final spot by one place, missing the cut by less than half a second.

Corrie has vowed to use her experience in India as preparation for when the Games come to Glasgow in 2014.
