lHAMILTON Caledonian Bowling Club will hold their 100th AGM on Monday, March 1, at 7pm.A general meeting for all senior members will take place the following day at 2pm.A meeting for the ladies’ section will then take place on March 8, at 2pm.

lLARKHALL’S Hibari-Kan Judo Club recently returned with medals from the Clyde Mini-Mon Monsters Championships at Paisley’s Lagoon Leisure Centre recently.The competition was for red and yellow belt students.Top competitor on the day was William Chalmers who won gold and bronze at red belt level.Silver medals were won by Chloe Aitken, Jake Stevenson, and Kirsten Walker at red belt level, while Fraser Barton also took a second at yellow belt level.Hollie Aitken and Andrew Simpson won bronze at red and yellow belt level, respectively.Head coach Neil Malone was also awarded his black belt 6th Dan recently.

lSTRATHCLYDE Loch Sailing Club on Sunday held the first round of their Commodore’s Cup series. Results were:

Race A: 1 - C. Reid and I. Martin (Albacore); 2 - T. Evans and C. Evans (Vago); 3 - M. and C. Bremridge (Wayfarer).

Race B: 1 - C. Reid and I. Martin (Albacore); 2 - M. and C. Bremridge (Wayfarer); 3 - B. Hanghoj (Laser).

The second round takes place on Sunday at 10am.
