Nominations for Hamilton Sports Council Performer of the Year Awards

HAMILTON Sports Council are seeking nominations for their 2009 Sports Performer of the Year Awards.

Nominations are welcome for senior male and female performer, junior male and female performer, senior and junior team of the year, veteran performer and coach of the year.

Junior categories are under-18 as of January 1, 2009, and veteran are 50-plus from the same date.

Awards will be based on performances and achievements from sportsmen and women from within the Hamilton area who have won medals at Scottish or British Championships or who were selected to represent Scotland in international matches or championships at British, Commonwealth, European or World Championships during 2009.
