LANARK Golf Club’s ladies’ section held their club championships on June 19 and 20.

The results were:

Championship: 1 - E. Cuthill, 162.2; 2 - P. Hutton, 164; 3 - R. Rankin, 170.

Friarsfield Cup: 1 - J. Forrest, 193.2; 2 - M. Aitken, 215.3; 3 - J. Lamb, 217.

Junior girls: 1 - A. Reid, 90; 2 - A. Ford, 111.

Bellshill Golf Club held their Tuesday Medal on June 16.

Results were: 1 - B. Cannon (23) 58; 2 - D. Pillans (6) 65; 3 - T. Garmory (18) 67 (BIH).

Carluke Golf Club held their Pringle, Henderson and Balmore Trophies on Saturday, June 13. Results were:

First Class: 1 - C. Young (10) 65 – Pringle Trophy; 2 - P. Hinshelwood (11) 67.

Second Class: 1 - T. Ferrier (12) 65 (Henderson Trophy); 2 - J. Kennedy (14) 70; 3 - G. Allan (12) 70.

Third Class: 1 - T. H. Smith (25) 66 (Balmore Trophy); 2 - D. Gillies (19) 69.

On June 17, the club held their sixth Wednesday Medal competition. Results were:

First Class: 1 - K. Harrison (2) 69; 2 - B. Robertson (6) 69.

Second Class: 1 - B. Murphy (15) 67; 2 - A. Andrews (13) 68.

Third Class: 1 - P. Melling (20) 69; 2 - J. Moffat (18) 76.

On Sunday, June 21, Carluke held their Russell Trophy No 4 competition. Results were:

First Class: 1 - D. Martin (6) 66; 2 - J. Cleland (5) 67.

Second Class: 1 - A. Easton (12) 68; 2 - J. McNulty (15) 68.

Third Class: 1 - J. Monie (19) 61; 2 - J. Tweedlie (19) 66; 3 - G. Tennent (18) 66.

Carluke held their Ladies’ Championships on June 16. Results were:

Silver Scratch (Championship Cup): 1 - C. Shields (263); 2 - L. D’Ambrosio (274).

Silver Handicap (Sunday Ladies’ Cup): 1 - L. D’Ambrosio (223); 2 - C. Shields (236).

Bronze Scratch (Mauldslie Cup): 1 - A. Ewing (291); 2 - P. Milne (293).

Bronze Handicap (Forest Kirk Trophy): 1 - P. Milne (218); 2 - N. Dunne (221). Copper Kettle: Jan Kidd (211).

Members of Bothwell Castle Golf Club’s ladies’ section held a stroke competition for the Vice-Captain’s Prizes on June 18. Results were:

Silver Division: 1 - H. Hill (16) 76; 2 - S. Alexander (15) 77; 3 - H. Stuart (7) 79.

Bronze Division: 1 - A. Sharp (24) 73; 2 - D. McCarte (23) 75; 3 - R. Byrne (36) 76. Scratch: H. Stuart, 86.

Bothwell Castle Golf Club’s ladies’ section held the Mary Stewart Cups (2) stroke competition on June 22. Results were:

Silver Division: 1 - J. McGowan (17) 67; 2 - J. Morgan (20) 71; 3 - H. Hill (16) 72 (BIH).

Bronze Division: 1 - M. McConnell (24) 67; 2 - L. Fordyce (28) 68; 3 - A. Carss (22) 72 (BIH). Scratch: A. Prentice, 80.

The Kirkwood Sisters’ Salver Greensome played on June 21 was won by Roisin Sharp and Heather Wyper.

Colville Park Golf Club held the Jerviston Trophy on Saturday, June 20. Results were:

First Class: 1 - B. Thomson (6) 69; 2 - R. Thompson (6) 70; 3 - W. Rodger (7) 71.

Second Class: 1 - J. Kostigovs (12) 69; 2 - C. Hull (12) 69; 3 - J. Milne (14) 70.
