School of sport

OVER 100 South Lanarkshire young people with a disability will this week take part in a two-day school of sport.

The project, at the National Sports Centre in Inverclyde on Thursday and Friday, offers coaching to youngsters, utilising top-class facilities and including an overnight stay.

South Lanarkshire are the only local authority in Scotland to offer this coaching.

Youngsters attending will receive a special certificate from Provost Russell Clearie.
