Bowled over at success of competition

PRIZE GUYS: winners of Uddingston Bowling Club’s Shaw Cup, played for in its 114th year, are pictured receiving the trophy from club president George Thomson.
The competition was introduced in 1894, and this year’s winners were:
W. Waddell, D. Warnock, B. McGuinness, and D. French (skip), who defeated I Gould (skip), B. Forsyth, J. Rough and H. McConnell.
The club would like to thank Belhaven for sponsoring the event.
The club has thanked everyone who supported the competition and made it such a success.
