SEVERAL Lanarkshire homing societies took part in Saturday’s race from Cheltenham. Results were:

NETHERBURN: 1 - A. J. Hamilton (1055.19); 2 - N. Orr (986.836); 3 - R. Smith (978.151).

LOW WATERS: 1 - S. Beattie (1079.831); 2 - T. McCabe (1030.972); 3 - S. Beattie (1030.127).

S. Beattie wins the Hinds Challenge Trophy.

GREENFIELD: 1 - Hendry Bros (937.770); 2 - Hendry Bros (926.963); 3 - R. J. Richardson (759.001).

BURNBANK: 1 - Baird and McMillan (961.59); 2 - J. Green (942.49); 3 - P. Whyte (941.11).

Baird and McMillan wins the Woodhead Trophy.

P. Whyte wins the Yearling Shield.
