Hamilton Park hosts Lanarkshire Chamber of Commerce race meeting

PUNTERS can take advantage of a seven-race card on Wednesday as Hamilton Park Racecourse holds the annual Lanarkshire Chamber of Commerce afternoon meeting.

Clerk of the course Hazel Peplinski hopes for another strong turnout from stables from Scotland and the north of England, with southern trainers focused on Royal Ascot for the week.

Feature race for the day is the Raeburn Brick Fillies Handicap Stakes over one mile, one furlong, which is also a qualifier for Hamilton Park’s £15,000 Series final on August 20.

Gates open at 12.10pm and the full racecard is:

2.10pm - the Lanarkshire Chamber of Commerce Maiden Auction Stakes; 2.45pm - the hamilton-park.co.uk Handicap Stakes; 3.20pm - the Raeburn Brick Fillies’ Handicap Stakes; 4pm - the Hamilton Park Super Six Claiming Stakes; 4.35pm - the Rectangle Group Handicap Stakes; 5.10pm - the Join The Scottish Racing Business Club Median Auction Maiden Stakes; 5.45pm - the TurfTV In Your Betting Shop Apprentice Handicap Stakes.
