Bowman reaches badminton semi-final

BELLSHILL badminton ace Andy Bowman reached the semi-finals of the Volant d’Or Tournament in Toulouse, France, on Sunday.

Bowman, who partnered England’s Matthew Honey, lost a three-set battle with Andrew Ellis and Richard Eidestedt.

However, Bowman and Honey knocked out German second seeds Tim Dettmann and Johannes Schoettler in the quarter-finals.
