COVEY held their Summer golf tournament at Strathclyde Park Golf Course.

The tournament followed six weeks of golf tuition attended by the young people and befrienders.

All the boys played extremely well on the night with Aaron Gilfillan (13), winning the trophy.

Golf development officer for South Lanarkshire Leisure, Colin Girvan, commented: “The boys played extremely well for their first time on a golf course. The lessons have given them an introduction to golf and, hopefully, they will now continue to enjoy playing the sport for many years.”
