Steven is an expert

STEVEN McLaren, from the Larkhall and Hamilton Taekwon-Do Schools, has been promoted to the rank of 4th Degree Black Belt at a Taekwon-Do Grading.

This rank is the official rank in Taekwon-Do where the student is considered to be an expert. Steven, who has been an instructor with the Stephen Rooney Taekwon-Do Schools for many years, was graded in Edinburgh by Master Peter Harkess, 8th Degree.

As well as progressing to expert level over the years as a student, Steven also has had a glittering competitive career, winning many national tournaments and competing for Scotland on a number of occasions, including European and world championships.
