BELLSHILL Golf Club held their Gibson Putter (Bogey) competition on April 25 and 26. Results were:

1 - T. Halavage, +7, 6 balls; 2 - A. MacDonald, +4 (BIH), 3 balls.

CARLUKE Golf Club held their Anstruther Trophy competition on April 26. Results were:

First Class: 1 - C. Gardner (8) 66; 2 - R. Melvin (6) 66.

Second Class: 1 - H. Green (16) 68; 2 - L. Anderson (13) 69; 3 - P. Byrne (17) 69.

Third Class: 1 - R. Jarvis (21) 68; 2 - C. Grierson (20) 69.

On Sunday, April 27, they held the first round of their Russell Trophy competition. Results were:

First Class: 1 - J. Strang (7) 66; 2 - B. Lammie (7) 67.

Second Class: 1 - B. Findlay (14) 70; 2 - J. R. Johnstone (17) 71.

Third Class: 1 - A. Wright (22) 65; 2 - P. Wheatley (23) 65.

LANARK Golf Club’s ladies’ section held their Stroke competition and the first round of their Houldsworth Trophy recently. Results were:

Silver: 1 - D. Gray (13) 75; 2 - A. Walker (19) 81; 3 - P. Hutton (5) 81.

Bronze: 1 - E. McGarrigle (23) 76; 2 - M. Gibson (24) 79; 3 - I. Kelly (36) 79.

Scratch: P. Hutton, 86.

COLVILLE Park Golf Club held their West Cup competition on April 26. Results were:
