12-goal thriller at Fir Park sees 'Well stay fourth

A LATE goal from Lukas Jutkiewicz saw Motherwell snatch a hard-earned draw in a thrilling 12-goal encounter with Hibs.

Colin Nish opened the scoring for Hibs but was quickly answered by a tap-in by Giles Coke. However, a second Nish goal and Riordan capitalising on a 'Well defensive error made the scoreline 3-1 to the visitors.

Nish grabbed his hat-trick before half-time, while Motherwell scored again in the form of a John Sutton header, with the teams going in at half-time with a 4-2 scoreline.

After the break, Hibs' Anthony Stokes scored two goals that looked to bury Motherwell, but Coke's second began a a remarkable fightback that saw the scores levelled through a Tom Hately free-kick and another Sutton header.

Motherwell's Ross Forbes then missed a penalty but Jutkiewicz was on-hand to level the scores in the dying seconds of the game.
