New faces for county juniors

BELLSHILL Athletic boss Tam McDonald has added three more recruits over the last week, taking his summer signing spree to eight.

Martin Fusari comes in from Glenafton as cover for goalkeeper Scott McNab, experienced Paul McAnenay was snapped up from Hurlford to add steel to his defence, and Willie Souter has joined from Carluke Rovers.

Larkhall Thistle boss Bobby Crilly has also added a trio of new faces in defender Barry McDermott from Blantyre Vics, and forwards Andy Bonner – son of Celtic legend Pat – and striker Stewart Watson from Kilsyth Rangers.

Promoted Thorniewood have signed left-back Stewart Little from Irvine Vics, who granted him a testimonial last season after he spent 10 years with the club.

United have also regained the services of full-back Ryan McGraw, who was lost to the club for two seasons due to shift work.

Royal Albert have signed Barry Murdoch for a second time, after he spent two seasons at Lesmahagow.

Carluke have signed central defender pat McIlhatton from amateur football in Coatbridge, following an impressive trial during last week’s Clydesdale Cup semi-final.
