SEVERAL friendlies have been lined before the Sectional League Cup kick-off on Wednesday night.
Following their midweek encounter with Scottish Cup holders Bathgate Thistle, Bellshill are at home to Maryhill on Saturday while Blantyre Vics will be at home to Rutherglen Glencairn.
Shotts head for Harthill while Larkhall Thistle are away to Livingston. Royal Albert take on Vale of Clyde.
Lanark United and Lesmahagow go head-to-head in the Sectional League Cup round at Moor Park.
The other Section One pairing is Stonehouse Violet v Royal Albert.
In Section Two, Carluke Rovers and Forth Wanderers – clash at Loch Park while Shotts take on Wishaw.
Bellshill and Thorniewood United open Section Three with home ties against St Roch’s and Shettleston, respectively, while Vics are at home to Rutherglen Glencairn, again.
Kick-offs are 7pm.
Future Sectional League Cup ties are going to cause problems for Lesmahagow, who have been told that essential close-season work on their battered Craighead Park pitch might not be completed until at least September.
Their ‘home’ Sectional League Cup ties against Stonehouse Violet and Royal Albert will be moved to Tilework Park.
