Five star season for Strathclyde United youths

STRATHCLYDE United Under-15s recently finished their best-ever season, when they picked up five trophies.

The lads won the East Kilbride Boys’ Football Association under-15 league title, League Cup, Challenge Cup, the Preston Easter Cup, and the Hugh McGee Memorial Trophy.

Manager Chris Rocks said: “I am absolutely delighted with the team’s performance in the season which has just ended, which includes reaching the Scottish Cup quarter-finals.

“I would like to take this opportunity to thank coaches Brian Bartle, Bobby McKean and Sean McHugh for all their hard work throughout the season – it certainly paid off!”
