Call for fans to support Scotland on web!

FOOTBALL fans across Lanarkshire are being urged to send their messages of encouragement to the Scotland national team via a new ‘virtual Hampden’ website.

And those fans from the county who sign up with the website have a chance of winning top prizes, such as tickets for Scotland’s qualifiers which will hopefully lead to the World Cup 2010 finals in South Africa.

Scotland sponsors Tennent’s have set up the website as part of their ‘wherever it takes us, whatever it takes’ campaign.

Scotland haven’t been at the World Cup finals since France 1998, and their first qualifier takes place in Macedonia on September 6 as they set out on the finals glory trail.

Fans from the Lanarkshire area can visit the website at: www.tennents.com/football, but the website and incentives are open to those aged 18 and over.
